Tail thinner replacement blades

These replacement blades are suitable for the Smart Tails Professional and Smart Tails yellow Easi-Grip range of thinners. The blades are easy to change by loosening and removing the nut and bolt on one end and can be replaced or interchanged to different grades as necessary using a small spanner although slight adjustment maybe necessary by either pulling out the metal prongs or pushing them slightly in. It is advised that blades are changed on a flat surface so that it is realigned correctly. There are four grades of blade available and below we have given a guide to the best use for each.

Superfine blades are used mostly for finishing small show ponies or animals with small docks and very fine hair, as it will get close to the fine top hairs. Also used on all types where final presentation is critical as it will pick up the top fine hairs which are sometimes more difficult with the other grades. These are equally good for using on dogs and other small animals to de-matt and thin out thick hair.
